With the
Tribute DC Gibson Les Paul Special
, the famous student model of the 1950s is presented Gibson as part of the Modern Collection. Based on a mahogany body in doublecut design, it Instrument exudes a classic Vintage flair and features a glued-on maple neck with a 22-flush rosewood fingerboard for a proven Gibson feel. The Les Paul Special Tribute DC uses two P-90 pickups in neck and bridge position for powerful single coil sounds on the bridge, the sound of which is controlled by separate volume and tone controls. Last but not least, the Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute DC Hardware equipment is a stylish combination of a compensated Wraparound bridge and Vintage Deluxe mechanisms with white wings.
This Gibson Les Paul Special is a straightforward electric guitar with authentic P-90 sound.

All in all the guitar is beautiful and sounds lovely. Strings need to be a bit lower for my liking and could do with a set up but that’s what you get when ordering a guitar online. The times we are living in at the moment makes it impossible to go to a store and try the guitar out before buying but I’m very happy that I’ve purchased my first Gibson and I could not be more happy with it!
