Classic cream body binding flows seamlessly over the mahogany neck, which is topped with a high-quality rosewood fingerboard, offering a smooth playing surface and refined look.The neck is carved to Gibson’s signature Slim Taper profile, providing a fast and comfortable playing feel, while the 24.75" scale length and single-cutaway design allow for easy access to higher frets. In detail, the Burstbucker 61R delivers a creamy sound in the neck position, while the Burstbucker 61T delivers a rich punch with powerful mids and plenty of low-end in the sound image in the bridge position. The sound is therefore ideal for crystal-clear clean and saturated drive sounds, allowing bluesy licks or demanding leads to be extracted precisely from the instrument with every tonal nuance.
