The Gibson Les Paul Standard "Painted-Over" impressively combines the iconic Les Paul design with the charm of loving DIY modifications. The instrument from the Custom Shop, based on detailed features of the original, has a strong neck profile in 1959 style and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets in the historically correct medium jumbo format. Two Custom Bucker pickups from the Gibson Custom Shop are used for the sound conversion, whose warm sounding Alnico qualities and moderate coil windings provide traditional PAF sounds with dynamic scope. The Gibson Les Paul Standard Painted-Over also convinces visually with its nickel-plated hardware equipment in VOS finish and its artificially aged "Painted-Over" paint finish.
