With its classic Singlecut design, the Gibson Les Paul Standard 2017 T has the typical Les Paul feeling, while the Ultra Modern weight relief reduces the weight of the mahogany body to a comfortable level. In addition, the neck with the Slim Taper profile nestles comfortably in the hand, while on the fingerboard with compound radius both complex chords and virtuoso solos loosely go out of hand.
The electric sound conversion of the Gibson Les Paul Standard 2017 T is performed by two Gibson Burstbucker Pro pickups in the neck and bridge position, which convince with their versatile sound without denying their PAF genes of the golden era. Accordingly, both classical and modern timbres are available, breathing life into every solo and riff played with the airy articulation and warm singing voice. The pickups are managed via the classic circuit with 3-way toggle as well as individual volume and tone controls.
Perfectly matched to the Gibson Les Paul Standard 2017 T, it Hardware convinces with traditional Look and contemporary functionality. The strings are Aluminium Tailpiece held on the body by one person and led over an Tune -O-Matic bridge, which ensures a precise adjustment of intonation and string position. From there the strings are passed over the neck, where they first meet the traditional Nylon saddle and then the Grover Locking machine heads. These promise a precise and stable tuning, at the same time they simplify the string change considerably.

The burstbucker Pro is awesome in terms of clarity of sound and pick up response. Remarkably better than the burstbucker 2 and 3. Very warmth tone and a versatile guitar.
Good product exactly as described and expected. Arrived early but would suggest allowing a little more flexibility with delivery either to a workplace or at weekends to avoid inconvenience, even if it means a small surcharge.
Excellent value for money in the crazy Gibson sale, this LP Standard has exceeded my expectations.
