Accordingly, the electric guitar has a one-piece mahogany body with a solid maple top, while the neck is made of a single piece of mahogany with a Palisander fingerboard. By the use of a long neck foot and glashhard "Hot Hide Glue" it Les Paul also has a lively response and an endless singing sustain.

On the amplifier, the Gibson Les Paul Standard VOS Goldtop delivers authentic Vintage sounds thanks to the two Custom Bucker Gibson pickups. As an exact remake of the legendary "Patend Applied For" Humbucker from the golden era of the electric guitar, these pickups convince with a warm sound that lets every played note sing endlessly. With their airy dynamics, the pickups also place control over the tone in the hands of the player, so that nothing stands in the way of expressive electric guitar playing. The pickups are also controlled by 3-way switches and individual volume and tone controls.
