The Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2016 HP Premium Iced Tea is a 6-string model featuring a flamed maple top, a mahogany back and neck, a rosewood fretboard, and an iced tea finish. The Les Paul Traditional 2016 HP is the modern incarnation of the original Gibson Les Paul with a futuristic set of premium, high-performance features. This guitar comes with next-generation G-FORCE tuners that have a smoother feel when tuning manually, offering quieter operation, and better looks.
A sturdier noiseless toggle switch gives you a solid, positive feel with quiet operation. A titanium saddled bridge provides you with a corrosion-resistant piece of hardware that is extremely strong yet lightweight, with a clear tone. This Les Paul offers a soloist neck width, making it ideal for soloing, with very slight added width but the same string spacing. Trapezoid inlays adorn the rosewood fingerboard that contains 22 frets.

Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2016 HP Premium Iced TeaA very good guitar for its price. The 57 pickups sound is something between the burst buckers pro (of a standard Les Paul 2013-2014) and the custom buckers of a custom shop model like vos 1958 (2014) or a vos 1959 (2015) as I had in the past all these models. The neck has nice feeling thicker than a standard not that thick as much as a 1958. I like the little wider fret board, and the g-force tuners are really helpful and easy to use. Over all the guitar is well crafted. For this price is a gift!
I've always dreamed of owning a Les Paul - growing up watching Page and Co - so when I startes playing again after a 10 year hiatus, I shopped around for a lightly used one. I was amazed to find Guitar Shop were offering a new one, with flight case and the HP version for a cheaper price than inferior models being offered on ebay!
If, like me, you are hesitant because you think there is a 'catch' to the offer, don't...mine arrived from Germany in a few days and in immaculate condition.
It plays as you'd expect a Gibson to. Supebly! I was unsure about the GForce as i'm a traditionalist, but it actually works brilliantly and I was won over by it straight away. Even when i'm not playing it, I could sit and look at it all day.
So im summary, at this price they are an absolute steal!
