Gibson Modern Double Cut

Hi,
I managed to snag this guitar at an incredible price, and wow I am so glad I made this unplanned purchase.
I’m not sure if I’d be quite so thrilled if paying the RRP, but the quality and looks of this thing are fantastic and it offers a real feeling of prestige.
I also have a Standard Les Paul, which this instrument uses as a basis and adds the modern double cut touches. Both guitars have the same pickups , but for some reason this custom shop manages to have a ever so slightly more classy tone on lower volume and tone settings.
It’s a shame this model doesn’t seem to be more mainstream as it seems to offer much of the Les Paul experience but with a modern comfortable body shape.
