Traditional hardware in gold
The Gibson Modern Les Paul Custom Axcess Rhino Gray Satin, on the other hand, is traditional in its hardware appointments. On the body sits the combination of a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and the classic Stopbar tailpiece, established in the 1950s by Ted McCarty, which guarantees perfect intonation of all strings and a flat, smoothly playable string action. From here, the strings are guided with the traditional 24.75" scale length towards the headstock, where Grover tuners behind a Corian saddle ensure precise and robust tuning.
