Flamed Maple Top and Mahogany Neck with Long Tenon Construction

At the heart of the Kindred Burst Reissue is its period-correct build, made with the same tonewoods used in the late 1950s. The body features a solid mahogany back topped with a two-piece flamed maple top, showcasing a striking grain beneath the Kindred Burst finish. This classic wood pairing delivers the warm resonance and vibrant clarity Les Pauls are known for. The mahogany neck is set deep into the body with a long neck tenon, extending right up to the neck pickup cavity. This construction enhances sustain and tonal transfer, staying true to the original ‘50s design that made the Les Paul a tone icon. The neck’s rounded ‘50s profile offers a comfortable, substantial feel that modern players still love today.

Gibson Custom Bucker with paper-in-oil caps

To capture the essence of vintage PAF tone, this model is equipped with a pair of Gibson Custom Bucker humbuckers, hand-wound and loaded with Alnico III magnets.
