This new SG Special for 2018 has been carefully crafted with the iconic twin horn cutaway shape providing unimpeded access to the upper frets. Built with a mahogany body, this SG Special features a slim taper mahogany neck and smooth rosewood fingerboard for a comfortable profile, enhanced natural characteristics, sparkling highs, and an open midrange.
A set of bright mini-humbuckers power this guitar and are designed with an incredible amount of sustain and note clarity to suit a wide variety of playing styles. The small size provides players with a classic, balanced tone when the two are used together. Independent tone and volume controls provide players with excellent tone shaping, while the toggle switch provides versatile tonal options. An aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge and separate stop bar tailpiece offer solid string stability and enhanced sustain, whilst a Tektoid nut enhances harmonics in the highs and mids.
