Furthermore, thanks to the " Slim C" neck profile, the Gibson SG Maple Top convinces with the usual high playing comfort across all layers of the Palisander fingerboard.

As pickups for the Gibson SG Standard Maple top Dark Cherry the Custom Shop team chose Custom Bucker Gibson in the neck and bridge position. Equipped with Alnico III magnets, these authentic replicas of the legendary PAFs deliver classic blues and Rock sounds that respond with vibrant dynamics. A warm midrange with a strong character and airy highs also ensure an expressive sound image. The pickups are controlled by 3-way toggle switches and individual volume and tone controls.

In addition, the Gibson SG Standard Maple top is equipped with authentic Hardware features that underline the classic appearance and appeal with unlimited functionality. The body is therefore fitted with the proven pair of Stopbar tailpiece and Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, which guarantee precise intonation adjustment and comfortable string positioning. From here the strings with a classical 24.75" scale length (628 mm) are led towards the headstock, where they first Nylon hit the saddle. Kluson Deluxe Machine heads with elegant Single Ring Tulip grand pianos also promise an exact and stable tuning.
