solid Super Jumbo with Sitka spruce top, body made of maple, L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup and case

Under the name " Super Jumbo 200" the largest acoustic guitar that had Gibson ever been produced appeared in 1937. The SJ-200 can justifiably claim to be the most famous acoustic guitar in the world. It has taken the music world by storm, and new musicians have always found the clearly defined and uniquely balanced sound of this instrument. Countless famous musical personalities, from Country Star Ray Whitley to Folk Hero Bob Dylan, 'n Rock ' Roll Gott Elvis to the rockers Ron Wood and Pete Townshend have written and recorded their world hits on an Gibson SJ-200.

The solid spruce top, paired with solid maple back and sides, produces extremely voluminous basses, full and assertive mids, as well as fine-silver trebles. With the permute inlays in the bridge, fingerboard and headstock, as well as the flowery pictures on the pickguard, this guitar legend is an absolute feast for the eyes. In addition to tuning stability, the Gold tuners Grover Rotomatic offer precise tuning. The L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup provides a brilliant, dynamic and natural sound transmission. Last but not least, an original Gibson case is already included.
