The biggest acoustic guitar Gibson had ever made appeared in 1937 under the name"Super Jumbo 200". The SJ-200 can rightly claim to be the most famous acoustic guitar in the world. It has taken the music world by storm, and more and more musicians have found the clearly defined and uniquely balanced sound of this instrument.

A solid Sitka spruce top with even grain in combination with a solid walnut body deliver a tight and round bass reproduction with nuanced mids and at the same time detailed highs. The traditional Scalloped X Bracing makes up a large part of the ceiling construction, which provides the stability and sound of classic 14-fret constructions using the bracing technique of tapered spruce struts.

The L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup is capable of exploiting the full potential of a microphone to capture the real and natural sound of the guitar.
The element under-saddle pickup only supports the microphone at low frequencies and can be conveniently mixed with the "Mix" knob via the control unit at the upper end of the sound hole

Furthermore, a volume control and a button for phase switching are available in order to regulate the volume as well as to largely exclude possible feedback.
