The Gibson Thunderbird 2018 Ebony is the perfect tool for all bassists who want to hammer their grooves into the ear canals and stomach pit of their audience with the intensity of a sonic bang. Accordingly, the 2018 version of the Gibson Thunderbird uses the traditional construction with a continuous mahogany walnut neck and body wings made of mahogany, while two powerful Gibson T-Bird humbuckers with passive electronics provide the well-known powerful sound. The Gibson Thunderbird also features a Babicz Full Contact bridge and Grover machine heads.
