As a tribute to the bold spirits of the '80s, Gibson USA brings back a true classic with the Gibson Victory Dark Walnut Satin. This reissue blends the unmistakable DNA of the original 1981 model with modern updates, resulting in a sleek design, fast playability, and a powerful yet versatile sound. Built for high-performance players and shredders who demand precision, the Victory delivers both vintage attitude and modern reliability without compromise. Naturally, it comes complete with a matching hardshell case, making it road-ready from day one.
With the Gibson Victory Dark Walnut Satin, Gibson is reissuing the slim Victory design of the early eighties.
Double cut body & Explorer headstock
For maximum playing comfort, the Gibson Victory Reissue features a slim mahogany body, designed for effortless performance during long gigs and extended sessions. A beveled upper edge provides a natural armrest, while the deep double cutaways offer unhindered access to the highest frets. Unlike the original 1980s model, this reissue is equipped with an Explorer-style headstock, ensuring perfect balance whether played standing with a strap or seated.
Gibson '80s Tribute humbucker with flexible switching
In terms of sound, the Gibson Victory with its two Gibson '80s Tribute humbuckers is ideally equipped for hot hard rock and heavy metal sounds. In order to elicit the greatest possible variety of sounds from the two humbuckers in the iconic zebra look, the Victory offers a particularly efficiently designed circuit: the push/pull function of the common volume control allows both pickups to be switched to coil split mode, while the switching function of the Master Tone determines the active coils and switches between inner and outer coils.
