Basswood body with two resonance chambers

The body and neck follow Godin's popular A4 design and offer an ingenious balance of acoustic and electric sounds with the best possible playability. The body is made of Canadian basswood and has two resonance chambers to add an airy acoustic timbre to the basic sound of the instrument. The bolt-on maple neck with its C-shaping and classic dimensions creates a familiar feel and provides the best conditions for unhindered fretting on the 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Pickups from L. R. Baggs and Lace Sensor

The fact that the Godin A4 Ultra Rob Trujillo Yellow Flame RN Limited Edition can score with both acoustic and electric sounds is proven by its capable combination of piezo and magnetic pickups. The former comes from the pickup giant L.R. Baggs and was specially designed for the Godin A4 Ultra Rob Trujillo Bass. The magnetic pickup, on the other hand, is a Lace Sensor Low-Profile pick up in the bridge position. Both pickups have separate outputs so that the Godin A4 Ultra Rob Trujillo can provide both sound sources simultaneously.
