The Golden Age Audio GA-8000 is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone inspired by Sony's classic C-800G microphone. The device has a variable directional characteristic, allowing you to switch between omnidirectional and cardioid polar patterns simply by pressing a switch on the front panel. This is a very practical function, as the diaphragm of the microphone picks up the sound waves very differently depending on the characteristic, which can lead to unwanted interference in the audio signal depending on the recording situation.
