The 7-ply mahogany shells of the CC2-J403 Catalina Club Satin Walnut Glaze, with their distinctive 30° shell bearing edge, offer a harmonically rich sound profile with resonant overtones. The deep, warm tone of Gretsch Formula Mahogany is complemented by a sharp attack and impressive dynamics, resulting in a balanced, rich sound. The triple-flanged hoops on the snare and toms ensure superior tuning stability and crisp, well-defined tones.
The mini GTS tom suspension minimizes contact with the shell, maximizing the vibration freedom of the mahogany shells.
