The Gretsch CC2-J484 Catalina Club Satin Antique Fade is a high quality drum shell set in a classic format, perfect for the stage and rehearsal room. With its timeless vintage charm, it combines classic aesthetics with modern features and a dynamic sound that leaves nothing to be desired. The seven ply mahogany shells, fitted with Remo heads and a 30° shell ridge, produce a warm tone with clear overtones and powerful bass.
The 7-ply mahogany shells of the CC2-J484 Catalina Club Satin Antique Fade, with the characteristic 30° shell ridge, offer a harmonious sound structure with rich overtones. The dark, warm sound of Gretsch Formula Mahogany is complemented by a clear attack and high dynamics, resulting in a balanced tone. Triple flanged hoops on the snare and toms ensure perfect tuning stability and defined sound.
The mini GTS tom suspension minimizes contact with the shell to maximize the freedom of vibration of the mahogany shells. The included tom holder fits seamlessly into the stylish "gas cap" rosette and allows space for an optional cymbal arm next to the suspended tom. The Catalina Club Jazz comes from the factory with durable Remo Ambassador heads, providing a stable, reliable sound right from the start.
