The Gretsch G2220 Electromatic Junior Jet Bass II Walnut Stain is a short scale electric bass with authentic Vintage flair and fat sounds. This is based Gretsch on a compact Singlecut body made of lime and a fourfold screwed maple neck with a Black Walnut fingerboard. With its 30.3 inch shortened scale, the four-string is characterized by a rich sound with a pronounced bass foundation, which is skilfully reproduced by the Gretsch Mini Bass Humbucker pickups. Last but not least, the Gretsch Electromatic Jet Junior Bass features a traditional 4-saddle standard bridge and precise Gretsch die-cast tuner.

Gretsch G2220 Electromatic Junior Jet Bass II Short-Scale Walnut Stain
Really chuffed with this bass. Skinny neck and even though it is coated it is not sticky. Balances great on the strap and the sound has a great growl. Not a flawless set up but pretty darn close! Don't let people put you off short scale basses, they sound just as good as long scale. You may need to tweak the amp but hey ho. Bass came well packed too.
I had a bass but found the scale was to much for my disability so wanted a short scale. I always thought a gretsch would be out of my price range but then I found the Music store and my dreams were allowed to come true. I’ve taken to this short scale so quick it’s a fantastic product, looks good feels beautiful and sounds fantastic. Thank you music store I can have fun now.
