Available in a strictly limited edition, the Gretsch G6129TG-59VS LTD Sparkle Jet String-Thru Bigsby Red Sparkle draws its inspiration from the golden Gretsch era of the late fifties and early sixties. Accordingly, the solidbody electric guitar from Japanese production follows the basic features of the era, but also offers some interesting modern upgrades. While the basic construction of solid mahogany and maple follows the tried and tested recipe, the two TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity pickups in the neck and bridge position deliver classic Filter'Tron sounds. A special highlight here is the Bigsby B3GP String-Thru Vibrato. Thanks to the ingenious string-thru construction, changing strings is child's play, and the construction also improves the response of the vibrato. Just like the rest of Hardware, the Bigsby has a uniform gold look and provides a tasteful complement to the elegant Red Sparkle nitrocellulose finish. including hardshell case!
