The HK Audio POLAR 8 MK2 is a particularly compact active column speaker system for musicians, DJs, entertainers, presentations, conferences and smaller events. It combines uncomplicated handling with professional sound and is ideal for users who want to set up quickly, work flexibly and get by without an additional mixing console.

The column element contains six 2.5" neodymium midrange drivers in a true curved column arrangement. Thanks to the wide dispersion angle of 120° x 45°, the system distributes the sound evenly throughout the room - whether the audience is seated or standing. Even in low or acoustically difficult rooms, the POLAR 8 MK2 ensures clear speech intelligibility and balanced music reproduction.

The compact 8" subwoofer provides the necessary foundation. Its metal-reinforced, low-resonance plastic housing delivers dry, precise bass while remaining pleasantly transport-friendly. The integrated 1,200 watt Class D power amplifier provides ample power reserves and enables a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB.

The integrated 3-channel mixer makes the POLAR 8 MK2 particularly flexible. Two XLR/jack combo inputs accept microphone or line signals, while the third channel is intended for aux and Bluetooth feeds. Thanks to Bluetooth 5 and True Wireless Stereo, two POLAR 8 MK2 systems can be connected wirelessly to a Bluetooth device to create a true stereo setup.

A special highlight is the infinitely variable Contour control. This allows the sound to be quickly and intuitively adapted to different applications - from clear voice reproduction and neutral music playback to powerful DJ sound. The integrated 24-bit DSP, together with the multiband limiter, ensures transparent signal processing, high dynamics and a controlled, natural sound even at high levels.
