HK Audio SONAR 115 SUB

SONAR, the new, powerful series from HK Audio, offers professional sound quality at a particularly attractive price. It combines HK Audio's many years of sound experience with modern features such as remote control via app, Bluetooth 5.0 with true wireless stereo, sound modes and user-friendly cardioid mode. SONAR is the affordable entry into the world of sound reinforcement systems that meet even professional requirements.

The SONAR series consists of three active full-range tops with handling-friendly and robust multifunctional plastic enclosures, as well as the active Bass SONAR 115 Sub D, which impresses with its powerful electronics and highly efficient speaker in a low-resonance wooden enclosure. The full-surface steel front grille gives the SONAR series its extravagant look.

The SONAR subwoofer

The SONAR 115 Sub D is a clever active multi-purpose subwoofer with an output of 1500 watts. Its 24bit DSP power electronics enable settings and applications familiar from professional subwoofers. The intuitive menu structure is clearly displayed on an LCD screen. User settings such as eg. X-Over, polarity (phase) and Delay parameters can be adjusted quickly and easily. By selecting the SONAR mode, the SONAR Sub 115 D is set for optimum, phase-correct frequency separation in conjunction with SONAR tops. This ensures optimum coordination between SONAR subwoofers and SONAR tops. The HK SONAR 115 Sub D also has two cardioid presets. This enables a cardioid setup without complex calculations and time alignment. The familiar HK Audio MultiGrip handles allow the SONAR 115 Sub D to be handled safely and comfortably in any position.
