The Hagstrom Super Swede BassNatural Mahogany at a glance:
With the Super Swede Bass, Hagstrom is bringing a real collector's item back to the stage! The instrument comes in a reworked reissue of the legendary model from 1980, which was once played by ABBA bassist Rutger Gunnarsson on the last North American tour. The mahogany body is complemented by a full-length mahogany neck, guaranteeing high playability and long-term use. The Resinator fingerboard has 20 frets and with its 15" fingerboard radius allows precise handling when it comes to demanding licks and riffs. Two Hagstrom J-Quad humbuckerswith quad-coil design deliver a powerful, low-noise sound with emphasized mids and a rich low end. Thanks to individually adjustable saddles and 22:1 die-cast tuning machines, the Bass impresses with its flexibility and reliability in terms of intonation and tuning stability. The Super Swede Bass is therefore not just a tribute to the legendary original, but a fully-fledged E-Bass with its own unique sound character.
