The Hagstrom Swede Bass combines classic single-cut design with modern versatility and presents itself as a short, enormously powerful 30.75" scale bass with two Dyna Rail Swede humbuckers and the characteristic 3-way tone filter circuit. The mahogany body with arched top, in combination with the glued-in neck, the H-expander truss rod and the Resinator fingerboard, delivers an exceptional playing feel with long sustain and precise tone response. Individual coil split functions via the tone pots allow both humbuckers to be switched individually to single-coil mode, allowing the Swede Bass to cover a wide spectrum from rich, deep fundamentals to clearly articulated timbres. The high-quality Hardware with Longtravel Tune-O-Matic bridge, Sustain block Tailpiece and 4 solid brass tailpieces ensures optimum energy transfer, while GraphTech Tusq XL nut, medium jumbo frets and 22:1 tuners round off the playability. Available in several high-gloss or transparent finishes, the Swede Bass is a versatile, elegant and reliably tuned all-rounder for studio and stage.
