The legend in 19-inch format
The Harrison 32Classic MS is a high-end analog channel strip that brings the unmistakable Harrison sound directly into your studio. Based on the iconic 32Classic console, this rack unit combines classic analog circuitry with features tailored for modern hybrid workflows.
With its integrated stereo mix bus, multiple 32Classic MS units can be cascaded and summed, creating a modular analog system that adapts effortlessly to your workflow.
The unit features the renowned Jensen transformer mic preamp, musical high- and low-pass filters, and the legendary 4-band parametric EQ that defined countless classic records. The original Harrison 3232 console was used for groundbreaking recordings by Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, and Led Zeppelin — and now, this heritage is available in a compact 19" format.

The 32Classic MS offers a comprehensive input section with dedicated mic and line XLR inputs on the rear panel. In addition, there is a practical front panel input that can be switched between instrument/Hi-Z and microphone. The microphone input is equipped with 48V phantom power, -20 dB pad, phase inversion and a multi-colored LED level indicator. Separate gain controls for mic and line inputs allow precise adjustments for optimum signal quality.
A hallmark of classic Harrison recordings is the high-quality, transformer-coupled microphone preamplifier. The 32Classic MS Mic-Pre delivers up to 70 dB of low-noise gain, combined with the characteristically full low-end, open mids and silky highs for which Harrison is renowned. The integrated Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer provides a smooth frequency response with subtle phase shifts that naturally round off the signal.

The Harrison low-pass and high-pass filters of the 32Classic MS are based on the famous 3232 console and the modern 32Classic console. They offer a musical 12 dB/octave slope, ideal for targeted sound shaping.
High-pass filter (25 Hz - 3.1 kHz) with 3 dB resonance peak for more character
Low-pass filter (160 Hz - 20 kHz) for smooth treble adjustments
In combination with the EQ section, this filter architecture ensures a tight low end and a silky high end without ever sounding harsh or brittle.
The 32Classic MS brings the famous 4-band parametric equalizer of the 32Classic console into a 19-inch rack format for the first time. This EQcircuit was developed back in the 1970s, when it was important to perfectly adjust the sound directly during recording.
Trust the EQcircuit used by Bruce Swedien and Roger Nichols and used in legendary studios such as The Village, Westlake Studios (LA) and LSI Studios (Nashville).

With the 32Classic MS 's integrated mix bus, multiple units can be seamlessly linked together to create a complete Harrison recording and mixing system.
Ideal for hybrid workflows, mobile studios or tracking rooms, the 32Classic MS retains the legendary Harrison sound aesthetic without sacrificing modern flexibility.
