Hartke LX5500 Head

The Hartke LX5500 is a versatile bass amplifier that combines the advantages of classic tube technology with the convenience of modern Class D technology. Accordingly, despite its low weight of less than 4 kg, the convenient top delivers full 500 watts of power for powerful sounds with a volume suitable for stage use. The tube preamp also ensures a particularly harmonious sound, which can be increased from a warm clean sound to juicy overdrive grind to a hairy fuzz using the gain control. For especially precise tone adjustment, the Hartke LX5500 Head offers the classic Hartke tone stack with controls for Bass and treble as well as shape and frequency pots for the midrange. Furthermore, a practical one knob compressor is on board, which can smooth out level peaks and strengthen attack and sustain if desired. Last but not least, the Hartke LX5500 offers a serial effects loop and a balanced DI-output with pre/post switch for direct miking of the bass signal on stage or in the recording studio.
