Hexinverter mutant BD9

Analog bass drum module with sub-oscillator

Hexinverter Mutant BD9 is an analog bass drum module with sub-oscillator in Eurorack format. The primary VCO generates 909-like, sinusoidal or optionally rectangular bass drum sounds. The pitch of the VCO ranges from about 30-240 Hz. Pitch Decay allows you to set the duration and modulation intensity of the envelope. The suboscillator oscillates at the same frequency as the oscillator or one or two octaves below. This makes sounds possible that are clearly different from the 909 basses. Amplitude Decay is used to adjust the length of the bass drum. The click generator generates a short attack signal. Bass drum is played via the trigger input, whereas the Accent input controls the volume of the module via CV. The distortion is varied via the output drive.
