Hexinverter Mutant Clap

analog TR-909 inspired clap module

Hexinverter Mutant Clap is an analog Clap module for the Eurorack Modular Synthesizer. The Handclap Percussion Synthesis is a reminiscence of the 909, but not only has a volume parameter. Additional controls for drive, cutoff, sustain, reverb, pitch and an external signal make Mutant Clap an extremely versatile clap module. Mutant Clap is played via the trigger input, whereas the Accent input controls the volume of the module via CV. The pitch control controls the pitch of the noise generator manually or via CV. Sustain generates an abstract synth voice, especially in combination with any external sound source. The sound is rounded off by a reverb effect equipped with a CV controllable envelope that can be applied to an internal or external source. With the drive control, clean to extremely overdriven sounds can be created.
