Hexinverter Mutant Hihats Édition Noire is an analog hi-hat module based on the TR-808 for the Eurorack Modular Synthesizer. The module generates open and closed hi-hat sounds that can be synthesized with almost any sound source via the external audio input. Decay CV allows voltage control over the decay envelope. A modern VCA and VCA Drive allow for a soft to extremely overdriven sound. How the two hi-hat sounds interact when triggered together is set via the Exclusive switch. An internal bandpass filter with cutoff control can be turned on and off.
