With the Höfner H500/2-CV-0 Club Bass Limited Edition Sunburst, the traditional Bavarian company is sending out a detailed reproduction of the original hollow-body E-bass in singlecut style, whose sonorous sound laid the groove for countless bands of the Beat era and British invasion.

Hollow body construction with short scale length

For the construction of the Club Bass Höfner naturally relies on the easy-to-play 30" scale length, which in combination with the full resonance body made of laminated spruce and laminated curly maple promises a full Vintage-Sound with a deep bass foundation. The glued, three-piece figured maple beech neck also offers comfortable handling with its slim C-profile.

Höfner Pickups with Authentic Vintage Sound

The Club Bass 's electric tone conversion is handled by two Höfner Diamond pickups with nickel caps in the coveted close-pickup configuration. When plugged into a bass amp, the four-string delivers extremely sonorous vintage tones with seismic basses that lay the perfect foundation for traditional beat songs. The pickups are managed by the typical Höfner vintage circuitry, which offers a wide variety of tones. Typical vintage-style hardware in the form of trapeze tailpiece, ebony Frettet bridge and precise open-gear tuners complete the Höfner H500/2-CV-0 Club Bass Limited Edition Sunburst.
