"Shorty" version of the Höfner Violin Bass.

Despite its short 30"-inch scale length, the Höfner Shorty Violin E-Bass offers a full-bodied sound and optimal playing conditions. The iconic violin body is made of basswood and makes the Shorty Bass an ideal companion thanks to its manageability. The bolt-on maple neck is crafted in a particularly flat violin neck profile, while the rosewood fingerboard requires flexibility over 24 frets with Dot-Inlays. For the sonic assertiveness of the Shorty is a Höfner humbucker in neck position which can be adjusted via a Volume and Tone control.
