The Hohner Meisterklasse MS D Major is a diatonic harmonica from the Hohner MS series and has been developed for players who value direct response, a clear sound and high-quality craftsmanship. The anodised aluminium reed chamber, nickel-plated brass tuning plates and ergonomically shaped covers ensure a precise playing feel and high sound quality.

The anodised aluminium reed body offers high stability and facilitates direct vibration transmission. As a result, the harmonica responds quickly to different playing styles and produces a clear, assertive sound.

Nickel-plated brass reed plates for quick response

The 1.05 mm thick brass reed plates are nickel-plated and ensure reliable response and consistent tone development. With 20 reeds in D major, the harmonica is suitable for blues, folk, country and many other musical styles.

Ergonomic covers for comfortable handling

The closed, chrome-plated covers are ergonomically shaped and sit comfortably against the lips. This ensures the harmonica remains comfortable and easy to control, even during longer playing sessions.

As part of the Hohner Modular System (MS), numerous components can be replaced or serviced. TORX screws make disassembly easier and help ensure the instrument’s long-lasting use.
