The iRig Pre HD from IK Multimedia is a digital high-definition microphone interface in an extremely compact design and therefore very light weight. It has an XLR microphone input with professional preamplification, phantom power and gain control, which is also optically supported by the multi-color LED. High-resolution recording is possible at any time thanks to the 24-bit/96 kHz format, while working is possible not only on Mac/PC, but also on the iPhone 7 and 8 and iPad. A headphone output with volume control and direct monitoring switch for latency-free monitoring is also integrated. The iRig-PreHD is powered partly by the USB bus and partly by the two included AA batteries
