The Ibanez AAD1012E-OPN Advanced Acoustic Open Pore Natural is a semi-solid 12-string acoustic guitar that expands the Advanced Acoustic series with an innovative Grand Dreadnought design. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and laminated okoume body, it delivers a warm, rich sound that highlights the natural chorus effect of its six pairs of strings. This stage-ready guitar is equipped with an Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup and a Custom Electronics Preamp, making it ideal for amplified performances and studio recording. Die-cast tuners provide stable tuning and complete the instrument’s reliable setup.
The Ibanez AAD1012E-OPN Advanced Acoustic Open Pore Natural is a semi-solid and electro-acoustic Grand Dreadnought acoustic guitar with 12 strings, solid top and pickup system.
In addition to the voluminous body made of laminated okoumé, the AAD1012E has a comfortable neck made of Nyatoh wood with thermal treatment.

For the Advanced Acoustic AAD1012E 12-String acoustic guitar, Ibanez naturally relies on the enlarged Grand Dreadnought design, which promises a rich and voluminous sound. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top with X-M bracing and a laminated okoumé body not only ensures a fast response, but also an optimum balance of warmth and brilliance to optimally reproduce the natural chorus effect of the six pairs of strings. The pleasantly grippy "low oval" profile of the neck made of thermally treated Nyatoh wood also promises buttery-soft playing characteristics.
The solid Sitka spruce top promises a lively and dynamic sound. The frame carries the controls of the active preamp.
Ibanez AP11 pickup with Custom Electronics preamp
Ibanez has equipped the Ibanez AAD1012E-OPN Advanced Acoustic Open Pore Natural acoustic guitar with a practical pickup system so that it can be used on stage and in the studio without any problems. The Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup placed at the end of the fretboard impresses with a lively and falsified output of the instrument sound, which can also be easily combined with effects such as chorus and reverb thanks to its high transparency. Also on board is an active Ibanez Custom Electronics Preamp with volume and tone controls for adjusting the sound.
