Electro-acoustic guitar, AE construction, solid okoume top, okoume body, 651 mm scale length, mahogany neck, including pickup system.
With the new Ibanez AE295, the traditional Japanese manufacturer expands its high-quality AE series with an electro-acoustic guitar with special sound characteristics and unusual materials. Due to a construction consisting of a solid Okoume top and body, the instrument produces rich and warm mid frequencies which are enriched with an expressive and rich bass. A flat mahogany neck, equipped with a Katalox fretboard which, in combination with a nut width of 44 mm, not only allows optimal playability up to the highest frets but is also decorated with an elaborate Wooden Vine inlay. A compensated bridge inlay and a corresponding saddle made of bone guarantee a clean intonation over the entire scale length of 651 mm and stand for the unmistakable quality of the entire product. Thanks to chrome-plated die-cast tuners, the strings of the Ibanez AE295 can be tuned extremely easily and sustainably, making even alternative tunings a breeze. The instrument is completed with an Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup system, which also amplifies the warm acoustic sound in a very natural way.
