Sound & Structure

The AEG construction produces an assertive and balanced sound, which is enriched by a Sitka spruce top and a bright, clear note. Meanwhile, the Ovang bridge transmits string vibration directly to the soundbox, resulting in a natural tone. The sound characteristics offered by this instrument provide a top result that will delight both on stage and when jamming.

Easy handling due to advantageous design

Playability

The Nyatoh neck with Comfort Grip and Ovangkol fingerboard fits comfortably in the hand and meets all the necessary criteria for flatpicking and strumming due to its nut width of 43 mm. The cutaway allows easy access to the high registers. Gripping is also extremely comfortable with this construction. The compensated bridge inlay creates a flat string action and the shortened scale length of 634 mm requires less effort. Perfect for inexperienced fingers. For an easy string change, the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins can be easily removed due to a stopper.

For a successful presentation on stage, the guitar has the AEQ-TTS pickup system. This allows you to control the volume and individual sound characteristics, which are also reproduced completely unaltered. In addition, an integrated tuner ensures a sound-assured performance.
