The Ibanez AEW40CD 6-String Electro Acoustic Guitar Natural High Gloss is a wonderfully crafted instrument derived solely from Cordia (Top, back and sides) delivering a distinct and rich tone.

This guitar is suited to a wide range of abilities and is capable of delivering unparalleled expression and articulation. Cordia shares similar properties to that of Rosewood so it is not surprising to find it projects beautiful warmth as part of its overall tonal character. The high gloss also helps to protect the instrument from changes in temperature for example entering an area underneath stage lights.

The on board electronics are distinctly Ibanez and are built to transparently translate the beautiful rich acoustic tones of the instrument into an amplified format thanks to a Fishman Sonicore Pickup coupled with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 Preamp. To top it off, an onboard tuner is included as well making this as practical in the studio as it is on stage.
