Laminated AEWC body

The laminated basswood top delivers a warm fundamental tone with rapid tone development, while the laminated Sapele back and sides give the sound additional depth and balanced mids. The result is a transparent, pleasantly round sound with good penetration, which is convincing for both strumming and differentiated picking.

Cutaway and top loading bridge

The Nyatoh neck with Comfort Grip lies comfortably in the hand and supports a relaxed playing feel over the entire scale length. In combination with the rosewood fingerboard, a smooth surface is created that favors fluid layer changes and precise fingering movements. With a nut width of 43 mm and the shortened 634 mm scale length, the guitar offers a good balance between easy handling and secure string guidance. The rosewood top loading bridge also contributes to comfortable string guidance and makes it easier to change strings.

In-house pickup and preamp

Equipped with an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and the AEQ-2T preamp, the AEWC16QA-TEH offers reliable and transparent signal transmission. The natural acoustic character is retained and is transmitted clearly and assertively to the amplifier or mixing console. The sound can be shaped quickly and precisely using the separate controls for bass and treble. The integrated tuner ensures convenient tuning directly on the instrument and supports a smooth playing process.
