Finally, a top is added to complete the structure. This avant-garde construction method creates a characteristic sound that is further shaped by the selected tonewoods. For example, the laminated spruce top of the Ibanez AUC10E-OPN produces a clear, overtone-rich sound, while the solid paulownia body adds an impressive resonance.
