Grand Concert with solid mahogany top, laminated mahogany body, cutaway and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 pickup
With the AVC9CE-OPN, Ibanez offers an open-pored Grand Concert from the popular Artwood Vintage series, which is ideal for blues and fingerpicking thanks to its shorter scale length of 634mm and a saddle width of 45mm. The lower string tension provides soft playability and makes it much easier to pull the strings. In addition, a massive thermally treated mahogany top on a laminated mahogany body supports the striking central sound that gives this Grand Concert the corresponding assertiveness.
In addition, the Soft-V neck profile lies comfortably in the hand, while a compensated bone bridge insert ensures optimum resonance transmission and a flat string position.
The in-house Ibanez AEQ-SP2 pickup is available for use on stage. It features a natural sound, a 3-band equalizer and a tuner. A cutaway has been implemented for use in the higher layers.
