For optimal sound conversion Seymour Duncan administers the pick-ups and circuitry of the Ibanez AZ2204. The 2x Seymour Duncan Hyperion single coils (neck and middle positions) and the Hyperion humbucker (bridge) produce a moderately increased output and a balanced reproduction of all frequencies, so that in connection with the lively dynamics expressive Guitar playing is supported. The pick-ups are selected in familiar combinations using the 5-way blade switch, whereby additional options can be called up thanks to the Dyna-MIX9 circuit. After the Alter switch is actioned, not only the serial connection of both single coils is available, but also the simultaneous operation of all pick-ups.
