With the AZES40B Black, Ibanez is expanding its popular AZ series with a model aimed specifically at beginners and advanced players. The electric guitar combines comfortable playability with versatile sounds, building on the tried-and-tested features of the AZ series. The lightweight poplar body is paired with a bolt-on maple neck featuring a jatoba fingerboard; its 9.8" fingerboard radius and 22 medium frets provide a comfortable playing experience for both chords and solos. The HSS pickup configuration, featuring two Essentials single-coils and an Accord humbucker in the bridge position, ensures a wide tonal range. In combination with the dyna-MIX9 circuit, including the Alter Switch, numerous pickup combinations are available, making the AZES40B versatile for clean, crunch and high-gain sounds. The features are rounded off by a T106 tremolo with Comfort Round Steel Saddles, which offers a high level of playing comfort and ensures the strings rest particularly comfortably. Together with the reliable Ibanez tuners, this creates a versatile electric guitar for lessons, the rehearsal room or your next gig!
