The Ibanez SRFF800 Multi Scale Bass Guitar Black Stained is a 4-string model featuring an ash body, a jatoba/bubinga neck, a rosewood fingerboard, Bartolini BH2 pickups, and a black stained finish. The SR Series offers a range of modern bass options, suitable for a variety of players and genres thanks to their smooth, fast necks, lightweight bodies and perfectly matched electronics.

The Multi-Scale design provides equalised tension for a more "alive", open tone and improved player comfort. This construction ergonomically coordinates with how a player's hand angles as it moves up and down the neck, facilitating quick, comfortable playing action. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with EQ bypass switch and mid frequency switch delivers precision tonal control, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypasses activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit.

A Mono-Rail V bridge provides bass string isolation, independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer without interference. Bartolini BH2 pickups deliver a tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range, and smooth response. The dual-coil style configuration maximises articulation and a long blade pole piece widens the magnetic field, providing balanced string-to-string pickup response.
