Thanks to its voluminous asymmetrical jumbo design, the Ibanez PA300E-NSL produces a warm and powerful sound that unfolds quickly and fades out long-lasting. This makes the instrument suitable for both full-range vocal accompaniment and expressive fingerstyle acrobatics. Composed of the finest tonewoods and with high-quality hardware, the instrument convinces with its high quality and workmanship, for which the Japanese traditional manufacturer Ibanez has been known for decades. The dual Ibanez AP11 pickup system rounds off the acoustic guitar perfectly in its comprehensive functionality. The scope of delivery includes a sturdy gig bag.
To produce an assertive sound, the top is made of solid German spruce and the body of laminated Pau-Ferro. This combination, together with a modified X-M bracing, ensures a balanced and fast-responding sound. At the same time, the generous cutaway guarantees optimal access to all 20 frets, which are set into a fingerboard made of Macassar ebony. The five-piece mahogany neck also provides luxurious playing comfort with its easy-grip 'PA' profile.
To ensure that the 6 strings on the long scale of 655 mm intonate cleanly, the manufacturer relies on a high-quality jewel layer and a 45 mm wide nut made of bone. Furthermore, the chrome-plated die-cast tuners with an 18:1 ratio allow for precise tuning. The top wood is edged with a fine maple binding, which creates a tasteful transition to the dark wood of the body. A specially designed soundhole rosette and the top wood bridge made of Macassar ebony round off the modern appearance in a very harmonious way.
The heart of the Ibanez PA300E-NSL is undoubtedly the in-house pickup system. Three pickup points (Magnetic, Undersaddle, Contact) provide an unadulterated amplified sound, which does justice to the natural tone of the guitar above all. The pickups can be individually adjusted and tuned to each other via the side preamp. In addition, the signal can be passed on to the amplifier in mono or stereo.
