With the Ibanez Paul Gilbert PGM333, the Japanese guitar giant celebrates the 30th anniversary of its collaboration with the popular shred guitar hero. In addition to the African mahogany body, a bolt-on five-piece maple and walnut neck is used, and the Macassar ebony fretboard carries chic block inlays. With three DiMarzio PG-13 mini humbucker pickups, the Ibanez Paul Gilbert PGM333 delivers a wide range of first-class shredding sounds with high transparency and first-class dynamics. High-quality hardware in the form of Gotoh GTC101 hardtail bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners completes the Ibanez Paul Gilbert PGM333.
For the Ibanez PGM333, Paul Gilbert and Ibanez naturally opted for the sleek RG design with an African mahogany body and a bolt-on, five-piece maple walnut neck. The flat PGM neck profile with 43 mm nut width and the 17" fretboard radius (430 mm) create extremely comfortable playability, so that shredding licks on the Macassar ebony fretboard can be performed at top speed with ease.
The electrical sound conversion of the Ibanez PGM333 is handled by three DiMarzio PG-13 mini humbuckers, which produce a particularly versatile and appealing sound spectrum. Equipped with a mixture of ceramic, Alnico V and neodymium magnets, these pickups deliver particularly clear sounds with enough juice for the juiciest distortion, so that harmonic arpeggios are implemented just as skilfully as high-speed solos. The pickups of the Ibanez Paul Gilbert PG333 are controlled by a linear 3-way circuit with master volume control.
The Ibanez Paul Gilbert PGM333 is completed by high-quality hardware equipment that can handle the toughest stage applications with unwavering reliability. The Gotoh GTC101 String-Through-Body-Hardtail made of brass supports the balanced tone of the Ibanez PGM333, whereas individually adjustable string saddles guarantee an optimal adjustment of intonation and pitch. Behind the GraphTech Black Tusq XL nut, Gotoh MG-T locking tuners ensure precise and stable tuning.
