With the Ibanez Premium AZ42P1-BK Black Ibanez sends a modern all-round guitar into the race for all guitarists who value excellent playing characteristics and a rich sound. While a basswood body and a bolt-on Roasted Maple neck in the typical "AZ Oval C" are used for the usual agile AZ design, Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers with dyna-MIX10 circuitry provide a wide sound spectrum with the right sound for almost any genre. Last but not least, Ibanez completes the premium AZ42P1-BK Black electric guitar with high-quality Hardware from Gotoh.

Electric guitar with agile playing characteristics

With a design optimized down to the smallest detail for modern playing techniques, the Premium AZ42P1 promises particularly agile playing characteristics. While the body made of basswood convinces with an excellent balance on the strap as well as on the thigh due to its ergonomic design, the "Super All Access Neck Joint" allows unhindered access to the highest registers. The perfectly proportioned "AZ Oval C" profile of the bolted Roasted Maple neck also fits comfortably in the hand, so that between the 24 stainless steel frets any solo and riff can be implemented with ease.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups

As a pickup for the AZ42P electric guitar Ibanez chooses two Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers with beautiful chrome caps. By the moderate Output the Alnico humbuckers supply a particularly transparent sound with first-class dynamics, which guarantees a precise representation of each note both in the clean and in the Overdrive channel and can be formed over the playing technique. The pickups are also controlled via the dyna-MIX10 circuit, which provides a total of ten high-calibre tones via a 5-way switch and alter switch.


Gotoh Hardware

High-quality Hardware from Gotoh completes the equipment of the Premium AZ42P1-BK Black electric guitar from Ibanez. The popular Gotoh T1502 tremolo serves as the bridge, and thanks to its 2-point suspension, it is particularly smooth to use. Steel-string saddles not only underline the lively sound character of the guitar but also guarantee optimally adjusted string action and intonation. On the headstock, Gotoh MG-T tuners with practical locking functions ensure robust and precise tuning, even after frequent reaches for the vibrato lever.
