With the new Ibanez Prestige Alpha A528, Ibanez presents a modern 8-string multiscale guitar that is designed for precision, playability and stability in low tunings. The American basswood body not only stands out due to its special design, but also offers an extremely ergonomic playing feel. The Parallel Wizard AS neck made of five-striped maple/walnut combined with a slim profile offers the best conditions for fast riffs, while the multiscale scale length of 25.5" to 27.5" is optimally designed for deep tunings. The instrument shines with its ergonomic contours, which ensure a good balance, while the ebony fingerboard with jumbo stainless steel frets and Luminlay side dots provides optimum orientation. In terms of sound, the A528 relies on Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers (Alnico 8 on the neck, Ceramic 8 on the bridge) including voicing switch for variable gain and dynamic characteristics. The mono-rail G2 bridge, Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners and black Hardware underline the uncompromising performance claim of the Alpha series.
