High-quality tonewoods for optimum playability

The mahogany body is complemented by an ovangkol top, which sets off the mocha flat satin finish perfectly and creates a beautiful design. The five-strip maple/walnut neck with Atlas-6 HP neck profile enables excellent playability, while the rosewood fingerboard with a 12" fingerboard radius ensures a pleasant feel. With 24 medium frets, the fretboard offers enough space to play high registers cleanly, while complex bass lines or demanding riffs can be played with ease.

Nordstrand Big Single Pickups, active Preamp and mid-frequency switch

The two Nordstrand Big Single pickups deliver a high Output with a unique sound that is characterised by an assertive character. Other sound control features include the active preamp with 3-band EQ, which allows you to precisely adjust the bass, mid-range and treble - and the 3-way mid-frequency switch, which allows you to switch between three frequency spectrums and cleanly shape the mid-range between 250 Hz/350 Hz, 450 Hz/600 Hz or 850 Hz/1 kHz, depending on your taste. These features make the Ibanez Prestige SR5506-MHF Mocha Flat a versatile companion for Studio and stage, which can be integrated into any setup without compromise!
