The Ibanez RG421M Electric Guitar Weathered Black is a 6-string model released for NAMM 2017. The RG is the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. The RG421M is designed for speed and strength, making it ideal for Metal guitarists. Equipped with three Quantum pickups, this guitar is optimised for high speed playing with an accelerated bass response and high-end articulation.
The RG421M also includes a mahogany body with a double-cutaway for comfortable playability. The Wizard III neck allows for this guitar to be extremely playable and optimised for lead guitarists, as the thin nature of the neck helps perform swift playing yet ensures a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords.

Ibanez Standard RG421M-WK Weathered BlackThis guitar has a nice pitch and a wonderful playability, it is light, comes with a very fast slim neck and yes, i love the body and woods chosen. In my opinion, the pickups are decent and this is all you need in order to achieve wonderful results on a studio.
Superbly packaged guitar, which was neatly packed with some other products I purchased at the same time. Delivery was very fast and I received emails telling me the day it would be delivered which was useful.
Very happy with the guitar - It had a hand signed signature saying that it had received a set up by staff prior to dispatch. The intonation was spot on out of the box. This store also offered the guitar at the most competitive price I could find online. Great service, have saved to my favourites for my next guitar related purchase. Thank you!
If you’re looking for an entry level guitar that looks the business and sounds great, then look no further. For the price you’re getting a guitar that looks and sounds more expensive. Visually the matte finish and crimson fade look flawless. The pickups are surprisingly good, definitely better than expected, this guitar practically begs you to shred until your fingers drop off. At this price point you expect some compromises, the nut is cheap plastic, and the pickups can sound a bit muddy / lacking in character. In my opinion any beginner would feel satisfied with this guitar, and when you outgrow it, could make a good base for modding, I’ve got my eyes on a GraphTek nut and bare knuckle passive pickups!
